Mooie blik, mooie achtergrond, mooi licht. Mooi portret.

Heb je je Yashica 124G al uitgeprobeerd?

Very , very nice tones. Creamy. He looks as though he was
taking just moment out for your photo session and that he'd be
getting back to work presently. I like the cigar. Nice touch. A
white board on the left of his face would have opened up the
shadows enough to round out his face a bit. I like the placement
of his body in the frame. Don't let anyone tell you to crop. This
image really benefits from being in his environment.

great shot!
Good example of how to use a background to add to an image. Perfect composition. Finally someone who knows how to use a square.

Ah hah! I was having a conversation with a friend just yesterday about books as a background for a portrait. I hope your subject owns all these!

Very nice portrait. He looks sufficiantly smug, as all good intelectuals should be.

Great Picture. That is such an understatement. My likes: the lighting, the reflection of the table, books that you know he has touched, on and on. The lighting on the back bookcases lead my eyes to wanting to know the title of the books. Very good - a keeper for sure.
